Jorge Gouveia brings extensive experience as a trusted advisor to public and private industrial companies globally. He has guided boards of leading global organizations on CEO and chairman succession, complex board build-ups, and leadership team development.
Today he is a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the global CEO & Board and Industrial Practices.He also leads the Metals & Mining practice in Europe and Africa.
Previously, Jorge held different senior appointments at top executive search firms and senior corporate finance roles in different institutions, including Monitor Group, Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Capital International, and JPMorgan Chase. He also headed corporate development in a leading manufacturer of critical minerals and metals.
Jorge holds an MBA from INSEAD France and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Porto.
